Functional Analyst/UX Specialist, RELI Group, Inc.
2019 to Present
As a Functional Analyst, I conduct functional testing, validate bi-monthly website data refresh, report issues, and recommend enhancements for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services’ (CMS) Care Compare website.
As a UX Specialist, I support the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) division in implementing their IT Modernization Initiative.
Design Strategist, RELI Group, Inc.
2018 to 2019
As a Design Strategist, I supported efforts to establish an HCD strategy, Community of Practice, and Center of Excellence for the healthcare quality division within CMS. My duties ranged from working closely with Lead UX teams in aligning their work with the agency's strategic goals, participate in HCD Community of Practice, develop a charter to establish a Design Center of Excellence. Outside of strategy work, I also provided ad hoc HCD support in the form of user research, interviews, and subject matter guidance.
UX Specialist. NRECA
2017
As a UX Specialist, I worked closely with the product team and Business Analyst to advocate for the user and ensure that the product lines up with the proposed user experience. My duties ranged from facilitating usability studies, creating wireframes to support the redesign of NRECA's Benefits website Annual Enrollment process, curate the site's user specification guide and participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.

2016- 2017
As a UX Researcher, I worked closely with UX designers and Agile product teams to develop a user-centered mindset. My duties ranged from planning user research, conducting usability studies, gathering and presenting findings, interviewing end-users, conducting heuristic evaluations, updating personas to curating the product design guide library.

2000 - 2016
As a Web Specialist, I was involved with web development and migration projects involving SharePoint and WordPress platforms. My duties ranged from web content updates, participation in design and requirement meetings with stakeholders, working closely with web designers and developers, to supporting usability manager by drafting wireframes, sitemaps, and usability testing.
Grassroots Advocacy Staff Assistant. NRECA
1999 - 2000
As a Grassroots Advocacy Assistant, I provided administrative support to Grassroots staff for NRECA's Government Affairs Department. Maintained a database of over 200,000 grassroots advocates to help electric cooperatives participate in communicating with their legislators on local, state, and federal issues affecting them.
